On July 2nd CONPRINTA celebrated the official opening of its new "Technology and Innovation Center" in Göttingen, Germany. The event was embedded in a summer barbeque with partners, friends and families of the company.

Klaus Thimm, CEO and President, welcomed around 150 guests to the CONPRINTA summer barbeque. During his opening speech he explained the fundamentals of “belt-type” flexo printing and its benefits for the packaging industry.

This event formed the ideal setting for the first start-up of CONPRINTA’s dedicated test press system. The youngsters were allowed to push the start-up button to officially launch the press.

This test press system already features a bundle of technological innovations around wide-web preprint, including the latest quick-set functions, energy-conserving high-impact interdeck dryers, newly designed touchpanel operation and the latest mechanically re-designed version of the proven Conprinta-IMD belt printing unit.

Klaus Thimm about the event: "With the investment of the new "Technology and Innovation Center" and the wide-web flexo printing press, CONPRINTA is able to test applications prior to the integration into any commercial system. In light of the vast variety of available options, this test press will be the ideal place to “test-drive” tailored solutions before these are exposed to daily operational environments all over the world.
